How Long Can Gornorreia Stay Dormant In System

CO2 from nuclear and solar

Pour into the atmosphere as CO2 produced by a KWh generated by fission or a solicitation of a ray of sun at a solar cell? If they are asked
American scholars Vasilis M. Ftenakis and Hyung Chul Kim, who analyzed the whole chain that leads to the generation of electricity in two cases with nuclear power and photovoltaics.
The photovoltaic power generation and nuclear need tools. In the first case the device is the prince nuclear reactor consists of bars of enriched uranium contained in a large building called Central in the second panel of silicon supported on the ground or on a roof.
Neither is born out of nothing. Both are the product of a production chain that starts from raw material (ore containing uranium for nuclear power and waste of silicon for the photovoltaic industry microeletttronica) and, through various stages of processing, the finished product.
Regarding nuclear power, the stages of production include the 'extraction of ore containing uranium, the pulverization and separation from the dross, the enrichment of uranium-235 isotopes, the production of enriched uranium fuel rods, construction and dismantling the central and treatment of nuclear waste.
For photovoltaics, the silicon melts scrap the production of microchips and build the panel should be located and then eventually dismantled.
The two researchers concluded that the source of nuclear energy produces more greenhouse gases between 22 and 49 g. CO2-eq/KWh (on average) for nuclear and 17-39 g. CO2-eq/KWh for solar photovoltaics.
Just this awareness to reflect upon the nuclear option?
Maybe not, but it is a matter to be taken into account.
